Information Collected Automatically

We use third-party analytics services that collect anonymized usage data:

• GoatCounter — An open-source, privacy-focused analytics service. It collects page views, referrer URLs, browser user-agent strings, screen sizes, and country-level location data. GoatCounter does not use cookies, does not track individual users across sessions, and does not collect identifiable personal information. Data is retained indefinitely for aggregate trend analysis. • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — We use GA4 to collect aggregate usage statistics. GA4 uses anonymized IP addresses, does not store IPs in logs, and does not share data with Google for advertising purposes. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

This anonymized data helps us understand which features are most useful and improve the Service.

Map Data

The interactive map on our Service uses Leaflet with tile data from OpenStreetMap. Elevation data is provided by the Open Elevation API (SRTM data). These services have their own privacy policies and may log requests including your IP address for operational purposes.

Android App (LoRa LOS Tool)

The Android application does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It does not request any runtime permissions (location, storage, camera, etc.). All map and elevation data is fetched from our server when you use the tool; no data is stored locally or shared with third parties.

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Anonymized analytics data is retained indefinitely for trend analysis. We do not store any personal data and cannot identify individual users from our analytics.
